The Trikewriter: the dot printer returns, giant-sized.

TRIKE WRITER is a project by Canadian artist, designer, and inventor Nicholas Hanna. Now living in Los angeles, when living in Beijing, Nicholas was intrigued by the water calligraphy he saw performed by people in city parks. Inspired by this practice, he built the original Water Calligraphy Device, and later the Trike Writer. The Trikewriter is a tricycle that writes on the street with droplets of water. Nicholas has recently focused his attention on creative uses of technology. "Using technology to inspire wonder."

Here is one in use in Los Angeles.
