Hiding in Plain Site ...

are these 6"miniature doors with stoops, welcome mats, and even tinier dog doors. They are tucked under tunnels, installed in public parks, found on columns and other strategic public places in Atlanta. They reflect their surroundings of larger scale.

Artist Karen Anderson has created this series with the goal of bringing pleasure and wonder. People might walk by them for months and never see them until the moment of surprise when they are finally found. A digital map on the project's website pinpoints the location of all the doors. She hosts a miniature ribbon-cutting ceremony for each new door after its installation.
